Ottawa

Today has been a fabulous day – we started early with a walk to the museum of civilisation here in Ottawa. So much inspiration for future quilts.
Here are just a few photos of some old pieces and some new art works.

After visiting the museum we met up with the MP for the Ailsa Craig area and his assistant Sarah who gave us a guided tour of the Peace Tower and some of the Parliament buildings

  1. Hope you had a great time. It looks like you did by the pictures you have posted! Love some of the art work in the museum. Will need to make time to go there myself.

  2. Ottawa is one of my favourite cities. Worth the visit simply for the museum, but the rest is good too! I need to return, it is so many years since I was last there. Looks like you are having a fantastic trip!
